About Me

Hello & welcome to Back Garden Bakes, a very new & exciting venture brought to you by Helen (that's me!) from The Back Garden Bakery.

Whilst Back Garden Bakes is shiny and brand new, The Back Garden Bakery has been established for 10 years. Based in Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln I have been very happily creating cakes and cupcakes for my customers as well as running baking clubs, cake decorating clubs and after school classes.

In October of 2025 I decided I wanted a new challenge and I opened my cake shed! The Back Garden Bakery Cake Shed has been a huge success and opened the doors to a whole host of delicious new goodies being created in my kitchen. I got completely hooked on creating new bakes and trying new flavours and I just knew I wanted to go beyond my shed, beyond Lincoln.

From here Back Garden Bakes was born. Lets see where this next journey takes me!
